We love pets, and they love us too! Your furry friends are welcome here at our pet friendly hotel in Winnipeg so you never have to worry about leaving anyone behind. Pet-friendly rooms at Mere Hotel are located on the main floor with easy access to the outdoors, including Stephen Juba Park – a large dog friendly green space located steps from our front door.
We accept all pets, with no size or weight restrictions, or occupancy limits. Add your pet to your reservation when you book online (a $25 pet fee applies) or give us a call at 204-594-0333. You will be asked to complete the pet registration policy at check-in when you arrive. If there’s anything that we can do to help make traveling with your pet easier, reach out to our front desk team who will be happy to help!

I understand that I am giving my authorization of a non-refundable pet fee of $25 (per night plus tax). Additional fees may apply if damage is found in the room upon check-out.
Responsibility of Behaviour
I understand that I am fully responsible for the behaviour of my pet during our stay.
Room Location and Leashed pets
I understand that, subject to availability, I will be placed in a pet-friendly room on the main floor close to an exit. I understand that my pet must be kept on a leash at all times in the interior public areas and the exterior grounds of the hotel property.
Damage and Soiling
I understand that I will be accepting full responsibility for any and all damages and/or soiling caused by my pet during my stay. I understand that the costs for the repair or additional cleaning requirements will be charged accordingly to the credit card provided upon check-in.
Kenneled Pets in Sleeping Rooms
Hotel personnel will not enter a room in which a pet is currently occupying, without the owner present or the animal in a kennel. The bathing and grooming of pets is not permitted in the guest room.
Noisy or Disturbing Pet
I understand that should my pet disturb other hotel guests, the hotel may exercise the right to refuse further accommodation for my pet. For this reason, we ask that you provide us with a cell phone number enabling us to reach you in the event that you are not in the room and your pet is creating a disturbance.
Cleaning Up After My Pet
I am aware that the hotel requires pet owners to pick up after their pets on the hotel property.
Service Animals: Service animals for physical assistance are not subject to the pet fee. However, the owner may be liable if the animal causes damage. Service animal ID is required to waive the fee.
